Our Amazing Teachers
Kira French started performing at age 3, and teaching at age 14. She has taught teaching PGY for over 6 years and her upbeat, contemporary style makes her a favorite teacher with the performers. Kira uses her passion for hip hop, rhythm, and harmony, to keep her students challenged and she takes great joy in helping them learn to do things they didn't think they could do.
Emily Bowen has been teaching and involved with PGY for over 20 years. She has been extensively involved in Performing Arts her entire life where she loves to direct, sing and perform. She enjoys teaching children and helping them develop their talents and to have confidence in themselves.

Nicole Donnelly took her first steps in the arts at the age of two when she began dancing at Hawkins School of Performing Arts. She continued dancing at Hawkins and other Sacramento studios until she saw her first musical theatre performance at age nine. She immediately fell in love with the art formed that allowed her to sing while she danced!
Determined to peruse her newfound passion she continued dancing but devoted herself to the development of her acting and singing. She took five years of vocal training in opera and musical theatre as well as learning basic piano and music theory. She has performed with various companies all throughout the Sacramento area and has taught the arts at various schools including Fancy Feet Dance, and John Addams Academy. Her most recent achievement has been receiving her Associates Degree in Musical Theatre from American River College. She has learned so much from her various Proffesors and mentors along the way, and she is passionate about sharing all she has learned with her students!
