Rehearsals /Performances
  • Once we have set the rehearsal schedule for the year with your student, all rehearsals are mandatory.  We understand that often that requires sacrifice on your part – but each student is part of the whole and cannot be replaced.  Missed rehearsals mean missed information and no matter how diligent or talented a student is, it means making up for that student’s absence at the expense of everyone else’s time.  Classes start and end on time when students arrive on time and stay to the end.
  • You will receive a conflict form at the beginning of the year on which you will be asked to let us know of all conflicts your student may have in the upcoming months based on the calendar you have received..  If I know in advance I can adjust my rehearsal schedules for minimum impact on the rest of the group and your student.  We expect to be informed on all rehearsals that your student will miss as well as if they will be tardy or leave early. If your student fails to be at a rehearsal they have been scheduled to attend, they may be replaced.
  • Dress rehearsals and performances are absolutely mandatory.   Missing rehearsals with out notice to the director or missing dress rehearsals or shows is grounds for dismissal from the program.
Code of Conduct
  • All students are expected to conduct themselves in a professional respectful manner at all times. All of the good sense in conduct appropriate to the standards of PGY (no drugs, alcohol, addictive substances, immoral, physically inappropriate behavior) will be expected from all participants at all times.
  • We expect our students to treat each other with kindness, tolerance, and maintain a positive attitude towards the show, the group, its directors, and PGY at all times. We expect all students to always do their best
  • Any behavior not in line with the PGY code of conduct will be grounds for dismissal from the program. If your student is asked to leave for any of the above-mentioned offenses, they will forfeit their tour and tuition payments made to that point.

Volunteer Policy
  • All parents are required to provide a minimum of 10 hours or help in some area of fundraising or tour preparation.
  • We rely %100 on our parents to organize all fundraising events and to help with transportation to and from shows and to chaperone our tours.  You will be asked to commit to an area of help at the first day of class -parent meeting.
  • We have found that parent involvement creates a more nurturing environment for the performers, where they feel supported by a “village” of adults who want them to succeed and soar.  We welcome parents to come to all rehearsals and activities to check out what is going on.
  • Parents who do not participate, must pay an “opt out” fee of $300 for the year.
